WHAT ARE FLEX DOLLARS AND HOW DO I GET THEM?

Flex Dollars are debit dollars that can be used at any of the Sodexo operated dining locations (excluding bookstores and vending machines) and participating off campus locations. Flex comes with your meal plan, but you dont need a meal plan in order to get Flex. Should you run out of Flex during the semester, you can add more online or at the Business Office.

HOW DOES FLEX WORK?

Your Flex account is built right into your existing Hornet Card. Just swipe your Hornet Card at the time of purchase at any participating location, and the balance is immediately deducted from your Flex account.  So, no more digging into your spending money, late night stops at the ATM or charging up credit cards.

HOW MUCH FLEX DO I GET WITH MY MEAL PLAN?

Reference the chart below to find out how much Flex you received with your meal plan.  If you are unsure of which meal plan you got, please contact the Business Office at (540)665-4514.  You can always add more Flex at any time during the semester, either online or with any cashier in the Dining Hall.
